Eligibility Criteria

Gender Eligibility:

• Both men and women are eligible.
• 33⅓% of vacancies reserved for women under horizontal reservation.

Educational Qualification:

• TST (Post Code 47): Graduate Degree from a recognized university as on 01 July 2025.
• MST (Post Code 48): Diploma in Automobile / Mechanical Engineering.
• BE/B.Tech/AMIE candidates are also eligible for MST.

Essential Conditions:

• All qualifications must be acquired as on 01 July 2025.
• Degrees must be recognized by UGC or Government of Telangana.

Age Limit (as on 01-07-2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years
• Upper age limit increased to 37 years as per Telangana Government orders.

Age Relaxation:

• SC / ST / BC / EWS: 5 years
• Ex-Servicemen: 3 years + service period
• Departmental Candidates: As per service rendered (maximum 45 years)

Salary & Training

• Pay Scale: ₹27,080 – ₹81,400 per month
• Training Period: 12 months
• During training, stipend equivalent to minimum time scale of Deputy Superintendent.
• After training, appointment as Deputy Superintendent (Traffic/Mechanic).
