Introduction

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), Ministry of Railways, has released the official notification for recruitment to 312 Isolated Category posts under CEN 08/2025. Eligibility Criteria (Post-wise)

  • Chief Law Assistant: Degree in Law with 3 years standing practice OR Railway employees with Law degree and 5 years service.
  • Public Prosecutor: Law Graduate with minimum 5 years standing as an Advocate.
  • Junior Translator (Hindi): Master’s Degree in Hindi/English with translation diploma or 2 years translation experience.
  • Senior Publicity Inspector: Degree + Diploma in Journalism/Public Relations/Mass Communication.
  • Staff & Welfare Inspector: Graduation with Diploma/PG Diploma in Labour Welfare/HR/Personnel Management.
  • Scientific Assistant (Training): Master’s Degree in Psychology with experience in psychological testing.
  • Lab Assistant Grade III: 12th Pass with Physics and Chemistry.
  • Scientific Supervisor: Master’s Degree in Psychology/Physiology with relevant research or training experience.

Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 30 to 40 years (varies by post)
  • Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC-NCL – 3 years, PwBD – up to 15 years, Ex-Servicemen – as per rules

Salary Structure

  • Pay Level 7: Rs. 44,900/- per month
  • Pay Level 6: Rs. 35,400/- per month
