Eligibility Criteria
Deputy Chief Fire Officer:
- Degree in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering from a recognized university OR
- Postgraduate Degree in Fire & Safety OR
- NFSC Sub Officer Course + 10 years Fire Service experience OR
- Any Degree + 15 years Fire Service experience
Divisional Officer:
- Engineering Degree or PG in Fire & Safety OR
- NFSC Sub Officer Course + 5 years Fire Service experience OR
- Degree + 10 years Fire Service experience
Station Officer:
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering / Fire / Safety / Risk / Fire Management OR
- Degree + 5 years Fire Service experience
Sub Officer (Fire):
- Degree/Diploma in Engineering / Fire / Safety disciplines OR
- Degree + Fire Safety Certificate from a recognized institution
Driver Operator (Pump):
- 8th Standard Pass
- Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) Driving License (without endorsement)
- Minimum 3 years experience driving HMV
Age Limit (as on 29-12-2025)
- Deputy Chief Fire Officer: Maximum 45 years
- Divisional Officer: Maximum 45 years
- Station Officer: Maximum 40 years
- Sub Officer (Fire): Maximum 35 years
- Driver Operator (Pump): 18 to 35 years
Age Relaxation
- SC/ST: 5 years
- SEBC: 3 years
- Women (All Categories): 5 years
- PH Candidates: 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government rules
- Maximum age after relaxation shall not exceed 45 years
