About Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) : JEE is one of the most prestigious and competitive engineering entrance exams in India. It is conducted for admission into top engineering institutes like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other centrally funded technical institutions.

JEE is held in two stages: JEE Main and JEE Advanced.

JEE Main, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), is the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced and is also used for admissions into NITs and IIITs. JEE Advanced is only for candidates who qualify JEE Main and wish to seek admission in IITs.
