Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be domiciles of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
- The applicant must be a resident of the Electoral Ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.
- Name in the voter list of the ward shall be considered proof of residence.
- If any dispute arises, residence proof from the concerned SDM will be accepted.
- Anganwadi Worker: Preferably 12th Pass.
- Anganwadi Helper: Matriculation (10th Pass).
- If no matriculate candidate is available, candidates with minimum 8th pass may be considered.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 35 years
- Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PwD/Ex-Servicemen as per government norms.
