Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: Candidates must be born between 02 July 2005 and 02 January 2009 (both dates inclusive). Upper age limit on date of enrolment is 21 years.

Educational Qualification

• Science Subjects:
  • 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and English with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
  • OR 3-year Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/CS/IT) with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
  • OR 2-year Vocational Course with non-vocational subjects like Physics and Mathematics with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
• Other than Science Subjects:
  • 10+2 or Equivalent in any stream with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
  • OR 2-year Vocational Course with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.

Medical Standards

• Height: Minimum 152 cms (147 cms for NE and hilly areas)
• Chest (Male): Minimum 77 cms with 5 cms expansion
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age
• Vision: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6
• Hearing: Normal, able to hear whisper from 6 meters
• Dental: Healthy gums, minimum 14 dental points
• General health must be sound without deformities
• Female candidates should not be pregnant during enrollment
