Educational Qualification
- Lecturer (PGT): Post Graduation, Graduation, and B.Ed with minimum 55% marks in all degrees. Post Graduation must be in the relevant subject. Preference for candidates with experience in Senior Secondary classes.
- Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Post Graduation, Graduation, and B.Ed with minimum 50% marks. Subject combination in B.Ed must match the post.
- Special Subjects:
- Physical Education – M.P.Ed
- Music – M.A (Music)
- Art & Craft – M.A (Fine Arts)
- Computer – Master’s Degree in Computer (B.Ed not mandatory)
- General/Primary Teacher: Graduation and B.Ed with minimum 50% marks. Preference for CTET/PTET qualified candidates.
- Nursery Teacher (NTT): NTT qualification mandatory. Preference for Graduation and B.Ed.
- Language Requirement: Punjabi up to Class 10th is compulsory.
